About

Adrien Valognes

Adrien Valognes, aged 37, has been a paraglider for 19 years and has held a BPJEPS qualification since 2014.
I’ve been fascinated by aviation and the world of flying ever since I was a child, and my adventure began in 2007 during my introductory paragliding course in Suisse Normande. Right from my very first flights, I knew this activity would be a part of my life for a long time to come.
In 2014, after seven years of flying as a hobby and gaining quite a bit of experience, I decided to take the next step by qualifying as a paragliding instructor.
The following year, I set up Manche Parapente, in the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel, to offer tandem flights.
I’ve focused my paragliding on cross-country flights. When the weather permits, I love to fly as far as possible, skimming the clouds.
Nothing compares to that feeling of freedom you experience when you’re up in the sky like a bird. So don’t hesitate any longer – come and discover this activity with me.

Performance

For a long time, I held the Lower Normandy record with a flight of 271 km starting from St-Marc-d’Ouilly, and my personal best in France is 350 km, achieved from Pas-de-Calais in 2016.
During a trip to Brazil, I completed several flights of over 300 km, including the most beautiful flight of 396 km in 10 hours.
I currently hold the distance record for Réunion Island with a 130 km triangle, but my greatest achievement was being the first to land on the main island of the Chausey archipelago, following a first-ever 19 km paragliding crossing over the sea.
