Adrien Valognes
Adrien Valognes, 37 years old, has been paragliding for 19 years and holds a BPJEPS (Brevet Professionnel de la Jeunesse, de l’Éducation Populaire et du Sport) qualification since 2014.
Drawn to aviation and the aerial world since childhood, the adventure began in 2007 during my introductory paragliding course in Swiss Normandy. From the very first flights, I knew this activity would be my lifelong passion.
In 2014, after seven years of recreational flying and considerable experience, I decided to take the next step and earn my paragliding instructor certification.
The following year, I founded Manche Parapente in the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel, offering tandem flights.
I have focused my paragliding on cross-country flights. When the weather permits, I love to fly as far as possible, skimming the clouds.
Nothing compares to the feeling of freedom you get when you’re soaring through the sky like a bird. So don’t hesitate any longer and come discover this activity with me.

Performances
I long held the Lower Normandy record with a 271 km flight departing from St-Marc-d’Ouilly, and my personal record in France is 350 km, achieved from Pas-de-Calais in 2016.
During a trip to Brazil, I completed several flights of over 300 km, including a spectacular 396 km flight lasting 10 hours.
Currently, I hold the distance record for Réunion Island with a 130 km triangular flight, but my greatest achievement was being the first to land on the main island of the Chausey archipelago, after a unique 19 km paragliding crossing over the sea.
